Great Conversation, Awesome Food and a Dragon Bounce House
Made Drapery Industries Summer Picnic Memorable

We’re very fortunate to have such a beautiful community park here in Rochester and it was the perfect lakeside setting for our annual company picnic.

For new and longstanding employees, the picnic is an opportunity for colleagues to meet each other’s families, play lawn games, and spend an afternoon filled with laughter and good conversations.

It was such a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon and an excellent day to relax by the lake and have fun with all the great people here at Drapery Industries, Inc. The children spent the day laughing and playing with each other in the Dragon Bounce House Obstacle Course.

There were plenty of activities for adults as well; before and after lunch, which was catered by Mr. V’s Street Style Catering, there were lawn games like cornhole and Kan Jam, inspiring some friendly competition. Ashlee (Office Manager) and her husband Brian won the Cornhole tournament.

The most enjoyed event at the company picnic was the Questionnaire “How Well Do You Know Drapery Industries?” With Questions like; When was the company founded and Where was the first location; to Who is the shortest employee and How many Kosinski/Geen Family members have worked at Drapery Industries? The winner was Hattie (Seamstress) with Nelly (Seamstress) and Eric (Account Manager) tying for second.

Hosting events such as the annual picnic helps colleagues create a work environment rich with enthusiasm and good vibes, and that helps nurture long-term relationships with our employees.
