Drapery Industries Inc is a 50 + year old company specializing in designing, manufacturing and installing window treatments (shades, blinds, draperies and valances) as well as cubicle curtains, stage curtains and tracks.

Position Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company in this specialized industry. The Sales Person/ Project Manager/Designer is an extremely valuable, front-line position in our organization. After an initial training period of 3-6 months, the successful candidate will work primarily on their own meeting with customers, helping them make the proper selections and coordinating with our production and installation teams to make sure that the project is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.  In addition, this person will lend their skills in collaboration with our sales team to pursue various marketing efforts (i.e. lunch and learns, customer visits, marketing campaigns).

Compensation:

The primary form of compensation is salary based which will be based on the person’s skills/background. In addition, the company pays annual bonus based on the profits of the business. For this sales person/ project manager/ designer position this bonus can be substantial.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a college degree (Associates or Bachelors) as well as a back ground in a related field such as design, furniture sales, architecture etc.
